Constipation and bloating

Digestive health, nutrition and lifestyle support alongside evaluation of persistent bowel symptoms. Ask NARI Health about nutrition with medical referral when needed and the right starting point for your concern.

What you can discuss

Discuss meal routines, food preferences, bowel habits and how discomfort affects your day. A nutrition appointment can help you review practical habits without automatically removing whole food groups. If symptoms suggest a medical issue, ask which clinician should assess them before changing your diet.

Prepare for your appointment

Note when bloating occurs, changes in bowel frequency, medicines or supplements, and anything you have already tried. Bring existing diagnoses or investigations. Ask how a food plan would be reviewed and when lack of improvement should lead to medical follow-up.

Assessment and appropriate care

Persistent or recurring constipation and bloating deserve assessment. Blood in the stool, unexplained weight loss or ongoing abdominal pain should be discussed with a doctor. Nutrition support does not diagnose the underlying cause.
